Consultancy for pharmaceutical companies
As doing business on already very competitive pharmaceuticals' markets continuously intensifies - entering new markets becomes necessity, but actual decision to do so must be more prepared and evidence-based than ever. Situation gets even more complex regarding orphan drugs or any similar novelty products that need to achieve a specific balance between (usually public) financing capabilities, urgent patients' needs, and covering of R&D and production costs, while striving to ensure long-term profitability. This is especially challenging (for everyone) in those healthcare systems that have decreasing financing capabilities but increasing needs for new/better pharmaceutical products. Although there are some similarities, in practice every country has its own rules and procedures regarding introduction and securing financing of new medicines, especially orphan and novelty drugs, as well as other medical equipment.
Our experts have extensive knowledge and significant experience on this topic in different European countries, so we can offer you consultancy on market entry for pharmaceuticals, medical devices and orphan drugs. It will give you quick, timely, direct, honest, discreet, insider and applicable knowledge, that can be crucial proof to confirm or disprove any knowledge you think you have about healthcare systems in European countries. Our advice has already helped many pharmaceutical companies prepare their pre-entry market analyses, and our assessment of the current situation, trends, potential obstacles and opportunities on these markets can significantly save your time and effort, and help you make the most efficient decisions.
Main focus of our consultancy is usually on the detailed description and interpretation of all the finesse of the systems of financing, reimbursement and public procurement within a particular health system, and on the detection of the existing legal, organizational, social and political obstacles, which are often unofficial or hidden, but can significantly slow down or even prevent the effective entry of a new product to a specific market. Regarding that, we are particularly specialized in the health markets of Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, where, through a broad network of experienced contacts, we can quickly and efficiently get the latest and most accurate information needed to provide you with a complete picture, and to give you the best advice.
We also offer services of analysis of the current market position and consultancy for its strengthening - for the existing products (already present on certain European markets). The main goal of this service is to strengthen the existing market share and/or increase the profitability (of individual products or the entire assortment) on a certain European health market. We provide you with the above primarily by preparing the analyses of: competition; current and potential customers; financing options and procedures; as well as the socio-political environment and opportunities for cooperation with other stakeholders within a certain health system, based on which we then offer you advice on possible further business moves for achieving the desired goals as effectively as possible.
To make use of available technology, save your time and reduce your costs, we are also offering our consultancy services over the phone or video (online) meeting platform of your choice (after the initial contact over e-mail, you choose the preferred means of further consultancy).
We're here to help you and share our expertise, so feel free to contact us and make an appointment for your initial conversation with us!
